How to Renew Enterprise Software Updates with SSA-ENT-C

SSA-ENT-C is used for the applicable Enterprise software-update transaction. Because the correct configuration depends on the existing server license and update status, pricing is provided on request.

Confirm Enterprise edition

Open the server license information and verify that the feature level is Enterprise. Do not order the Professional SSA product for an Enterprise system.

Collect the server identifier

Provide the MAC address shown in the license information. For original Exacq hardware, provide the server serial number as well when available.

Review the existing update date

Record the current software-update expiration and the server version. This allows the renewal requirement to be checked before the order is processed.

Apply the updated license

After the Enterprise SSA is issued, retrieve or receive the new license and apply it to the server. Verify the new update date before upgrading the software.

If a transfer is also required

Apply the correct Enterprise SSA to the existing licensed system first, then process EVIP-TRANSFER to the destination MAC address.
