ExacqVision License Transfer

An ExacqVision server license is linked to the server identifier used during activation. When server hardware is replaced, ExacqVision is migrated to a virtual machine, or the installation is moved to another computer, the license must be transferred to the new server identifier.

An official ExacqVision License Transfer (EVIP-TRANSFER) moves the existing server license to a new MAC address without requiring the existing camera licenses to be purchased again.

Information required for a license transfer

• Current server MAC address or original ExacqVision server serial number
• New server MAC address
• Existing license information, if available
• Server name, if available
• A valid and active Software Subscription Agreement (SSA)

Once all required information has been received and the active SSA has been verified, most license transfers are completed by the next business day.

If the SSA has expired, we can provide an official SSA renewal quotation before processing the transfer.
