How to Transfer an ExacqVision Server License

An exacqVision server license is linked to a server identifier. When the server is replaced or the installation is moved to another host, an official EVIP-TRANSFER is used to move the license.

Information required

• Current server MAC address or original exacqVision server serial number
• New server MAC address
• Existing license information, if available
• Server name, if available
• A valid and active Software Subscription Agreement

Professional and Enterprise SSA

A Professional server uses SSA-PRO-C. An Enterprise server uses SSA-ENT-C. The correct SSA must be active before the transfer is processed.

Transfer process

1. Verify the current server identifier and edition.
2. Renew the correct SSA if it has expired.
3. Submit the current and new server identifiers.
4. Apply the updated license to the destination server.

Most transfers are completed by the next business day after all required information and payment have been received.
