ExacqVision Licensing Guide

exacqVision Licensing FAQ

This FAQ summarizes the most common ordering and activation questions for exacqVision Professional and Enterprise licensing.

Camera licenses

EVIP-01 adds one Professional IP camera channel. EVENIP-01 adds one Enterprise IP camera channel. The product must match the server edition.

Software updates

SSA records software-update eligibility in the server license. Professional and Enterprise systems use different SSA products.

Server moves

EVIP-TRANSFER moves an existing server license to a new MAC address. Current SSA is required.

Identifiers

The server MAC address shown in the license information is normally used. Original Exacq hardware may also be identified by serial number.

Activation

A new license can expand camera count, change licensed features through the applicable product, or extend the update period. Official Exacq information states that installing a new license does not require a software reinstall.
