ExacqVision Licensing Guide

exacqVision License Transfer Requirements Checklist

Use this checklist before submitting a transfer request. Complete information reduces delays and prevents the license from being generated for the wrong destination.

Current system

  • Current server MAC address.
  • Original Exacq server serial number, if applicable.
  • Professional or Enterprise edition.
  • Current licensed IP camera count.
  • Current software-update expiration.

Destination system

  • New server MAC address.
  • Server name or project reference.
  • Confirmation that the destination identifier will remain stable.

Licensing products

  • EVIP-TRANSFER for the move.
  • SSA-PRO-C when a Professional server requires the applicable SSA update.
  • SSA-ENT-C when an Enterprise server requires the applicable SSA update.

Operational preparation

  • Back up the exacqVision configuration and document camera assignments.
  • Plan downtime and avoid running the transferred entitlement as two permanent production licenses.
  • Verify the new license after installation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the new server serial number required?

The destination MAC address is the key identifier for a software or replacement-server transfer; include any available serial information as additional reference.

Can I submit only the two MAC addresses?

Edition and SSA status should also be confirmed to avoid an incomplete request.

When should I decommission the old server?

After the destination system is ready and the transfer process has been coordinated.

Should I send a purchase order reference?

A project or purchase-order reference helps identify the request and should be included when available.
