EVIP-01 vs EVENIP-01: What Is the Difference?

The difference is the server edition: EVIP-01 is the Professional IP camera license, while EVENIP-01 is the Enterprise IP camera license.

EVIP-01

Adds one IP camera channel to an exacqVision Professional server.

Use it only when the server license information shows Professional.

EVENIP-01

Adds one IP camera channel to an exacqVision Enterprise server.

Use it only when the server license information shows Enterprise.

How to avoid ordering the wrong license

Do not rely only on the installed client software name. Review the actual server license information.

Provide a screenshot of the license pane or the server MAC address when requesting confirmation.

If the software-update period must be renewed, use the SSA product matching the same edition.

If the entire server license is moving to a new MAC, add EVIP-TRANSFER after ensuring SSA is current.

Frequently asked questions

Are both products per camera?

Yes, each product licenses one additional IP camera channel for its respective edition.

Can EVIP-01 upgrade Professional to Enterprise?

No. It adds a Professional camera channel; it does not change edition.

Which license is cheaper?

Use the correct edition rather than selecting by price. An incorrect license cannot be applied as a substitute.
